Valley Christian head football coach Jeff Rutledge has been selected to speak at this year’s Rose Bowl Championship Breakfast on December 29 at The Beverly Hilton.
Coach Rutledge will be joined by Woodlawn actor Kevin Sizemore and Jonathan Evans, the Chaplain for the Dallas Cowboys.
Student-athletes and coaches from the University of Iowa and Stanford University will be in attendance along with high school coaches and student-athletes. The annual breakfast is hosted by the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
Coach Rutledge has also made national headlines this week as the Cincinnati Bengals prepare for their game. Coach Rut holds the distinction of being the last quarterback from the University of Alabama to start and win an NFL game. He’s been featured on Sportscenter, the Mike and Mike Show and dozens of media outlets across the country.
