Coming off a winning season and playoff bid, Trojan football was well represented on the AIA All-Section and East Valley Tribune teams.
Fourteen student-athletes were named to the AIA All-Section team, including seven on the 1st Team. The seven 1st Team selections represented 10 different positions. Nine Trojans earned 2nd Team honors at 11 different positions and three earned honorable mention honors. Senior Christian Sanchez was named 1st Team at three different positions and also earned 2nd Team honors at an additional two positions.
Four football student-athletes were also recognized by the East Valley Tribune. Christian Sanchez, Mason Goodell, Brendan Dyer and Alijah Gammage were honorable mentions on the All-Tribune Team.
Gammage also was named the AZSportsNetwork’s Freshman of the Year.
