Valley Christian senior Mason Goodell ’16 signed his National Letter of Intent to continue his education and play football at William Jewell College in Missouri.
Prior to seeing his senior year cut short due to injury, Goodell racked up 21 receptions for 300 yards and three touchdowns in six games. He finished his Valley Christian career with 734 all-purpose yards and nine touchdowns.
William Jewell plays NCAA Division II football in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. Prior to making the transition to the NCAA, Jewell was the first NAIA college football program to reach 500 wins. The Firebirds finished the 2015 season 4-7.
