Another year has passed at Valley Christian High School. God’s faithfulness was exhibited once again. I want to say that it has truly been a blessing and honor to educate your students. It is a task and calling that we do not take lightly. Thanks for entrusting your students to us.

Once again there were numerous examples and events that portrayed or exhibited excellence. Some of them were: a meaningful school-wide Night of Worship, a world championship by our Robotics team, being named as one of the top fifty Christian high schools in the nation, the teamwork and school pride exhibited at Trojan Tournament, and a number of our seniors accepted into some of the nation’s top colleges and military academies. I could go on, but these are just a few.

Although we do a lot of things in an excellent way, I realize we have a ways to go in some areas too. We will continue on the quest for excellence one step at a time. God asks for our best with the gifts and talents he has given us. 2 Corinthians 8:7 states, “But as you excel in everything-in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in all earnestness, and in our love for you-see that you excel in this act of grace also.” In the Christian educational setting, our mandate is to grow and develop those gifts and talents in our student population. In return, as Christians, God then expects us to use those gifts and talents to give him worship and praise.

KuiperThank you to all of you that came alongside of us this year so we could provide excellent programs. I also want to thank those that encouraged us to pursue excellence in other areas.
You helped us to look at things in a different way and prodded us to change. Your insights and comments were invaluable.

Between volunteer coaches, members of committees, VCVC, Mom’s Lunch, Mom’s in Touch, Booster Clubs, Board members, and a whole host of other people and groups – thank you for helping put your mark of excellence on VCHS. God bless you this summer, and we look forward to doing more of the same next year.
