Mark your calendars for this year’s Spiritual Emphasis Week. Our annual focus on teaching, workshops and worship is September 14-18. Please note that there will not be an early release on Wednesday, September 16. Instead, on Friday we will dismiss at 11:30am.
On Monday-Thursday day the students’ academic schedule will be integrated with special times for worship, break out workshops, and teaching. Students will attend their 1-4 period classes on Monday and Wednesday and their 5-8 period classes on Tuesday and Thursday. Worship will be in Barnes Hall from 10:00-10:30am, break out workshops will be held from 10:30-11:20am and then there will be a time of teaching from 11:30am-12:30pm. Lunch will be from 12:30-1:15pm each day.
On Friday, the entire school will meet in Barnes Hall at 8:00am for a time of worship. Then at 8:45am in the Bradley Gym, the student body will be participating in a screening of the final cut of the upcoming movie Woodlawn. The movie will be released in theaters on October 15, but thanks to Coach Rut’s connection with the film, our community will have the opportunity to see this powerful movie a month early.
