business fairA team of local entrepreneurs, including Valley Christian alum Kyle Brown ’02, hosted Arizona’s first Children’s Business Fair Saturday at Arizona Center in downtown Phoenix.

Children ages 6-14 were encouraged to showcase their work as entrepreneurs at this one-day event. All 120 booths at the event, sponsored by generous local partners, were filled with kids (170 in all) selling original recipes, inspired art, karate lessons, time in a bouncy house, and everything in between.

Not only did they have a chance to sell their wares, but entrepreneurs were also judged on a variety of criteria including most original business idea, highest business potential and best presentation/creativity. Kyle stated that the group is “looking to double” the amount of kids involved at next year’s event.
