These are just several affirmations of the impact Valley Christian has on our students and in our community, and a demonstration of the outstanding quality of our students, faculty, staff, supporters and programs.

  • Sent a group of students and faculty to Romania as a culmination of our first-ever Missions class
  • We have continued to develop our iValley program in anticipation for next year’s launch
  • Our digital citizenship curriculum was featured nationally by Christian Schools International
  • Fine Arts presented the Phoenix Dream Center with a $10,000 check for their ministry
  • The athletic program was voted the Best in Arizona by USA Today
  • Maintained our national Top-50 ranking by The Best Schools and was voted the #2 Private School in Arizona by Ranking Arizona
  • Golf won their fourth consecutive state championship and girls basketball finished state runner-up

  • Reintroduced a Pastor’s Breakfast and hosted a “Woodlawn” screening during an incredible Spiritual Emphasis Week
  • Saw students lead powerful, inspiring chapels in front of their peers
  • Reintroduced our S.H.A.R.E., student-driven, financial aid campaign
  • Became the only school in Arizona to have two coaches with 500+ career wins at the same school (Greg Haagsma and Scott Timmer)
  • Had two students (Taylor Haagsma and Gracie Gentile) selected to All-State Choir
  • Welcomed more than 2,000 guests for our expanded Homecoming Week activities
  • Began a strategic planning process with the board, faculty, staff and constituents with many innovative and exciting initiatives being discussed
  • NOW 2015 for website (35)Announced the launch of College. Career. Life. and STEM programs for students for 2016-17
  • Saw the Class of 2016 win our third annual Trojan Tournament
  • Launch of the He-Brews weekly coffee shop
  • Hosted our first of many seminars with Financial Planning Ministry
