Elyse was born in Arizona and has lived here most her life. Her family moved to Toronto, Canada where they lived for five years and then moved back to Arizona. Back in Arizona, she finished the rest of high school and attended Arizona State University, majoring in Family Sciences and Human Development.

Before coming to Valley Christian, Elyse worked at Panera Bread for 13 years in many different positions within the company. She currently attends Central Christian Church and volunteers her time in the Early Childhood Development program.

Elyse has one son, Gavin, with whom she likes to spend most of her free time with. Usually playing soccer outside or riding bikes. In her free time, she likes to run in half marathons and spend time with her family and friends.
