Participating in theater at Valley Christian High School takes on many different forms for students. With opportunities to act, run sound and lighting and even direct, students develop their gifts as they build confidence and creativity.
Students are able to develop their skills both in class and after school. The theater department produces a wide variety of productions and have numerous performance opportunities in the community.
Students learn the basic principles of acting and stagecraft, and have the opportunity to practice these skills hands-on through full dramatic productions.
This group develops students’ public speaking skills. They have many opportunities to prepare various kinds of speeches, then practice and perform them before various audiences. Students compete in speech tournaments and gain confidence as they develop their talent.
