Students will travel to the Caribbean island of Curacao. This is primarily an educational and cultural experience.
Who is this ENGAGE experience for?
Students who desire to connect others with Curacao. Students will express the culture, people, and history of Curacao.
What will team members do?
Students will visit history and maritime museums, engage with local youth, visit national parks and beaches. Students will also serve a local church, Iglesia Bida Nobo, and a missionary family there. Students will take daily Duth and Papamiento (local creole that is a mixture of Spanish, Portugese, Dutch, English, and African dialects) lessons. This trip is available to 12-15 students.
